All journeys need to start somewhere and I suppose this is where mine will begin. This past year has been quite tumultuous for me, to say the very least. It has been so gross, that I have no qualms labeling it the WORST year ever. Health issues galore! There have hospital stays, too many fevers to count, widespread pain that truly effected my quality of life, and an overall feeling impending doom. Yep, doom.
Very recently my dark cloud seems to have gone away, though, thanks in part to a diagnosis that explains a lot of the health issues that I have been experiencing and the beginning of treatment to kick this auto-immune disease’s butt into remission (we hope!). My foe has a name... and now I feel that I have the determination to defeat it!

However, there’s more to my new mission than just regaining my lost health. I need to focus on getting my glow back -- that kind of radiance that someone emits when they are living their life to it’s fullest potential. Hence, Project Glow. It’s been far too long since I’ve spent time really working on bettering myself and making myself happy.
- Work on cleaning up my diet
- Start moving my body more, at least, as much as it will allow
- Learn to better deal with stress
- Cultivate a deeper, more meaningful spirituality
- Have more fun!
I’ll write more on each of these points later... and I’m sure I’ll add more as I go. For now, though, it’s a good starting point.
